I have made many friends in the Gay Adult Industry, but nothing could prepare me for meeting Gage Powers. I had run a group on Yahoo and Gage joined. I sent an email, not thinking he would answer, he did and from there things have just gotten better with each passing day. Over seven years later our friendship has grown and keeps growing.

In the Gay Adult Industry people come and go it seem's so quickly at times. But for myself and Gage, we have become family. For this I am truly blessed, and I am thankful that he has finally given me the interview I have been wanting for some time. I say this joking of course, to know Gage Powers, is to love him. And to me Gage Powers is in every sense of the word "My Brother" to me, and I am truly blessed.

Gage started out as model and made the transfer to co-owner of http://www.Citiboyz.com Instead of being in front of the camera, today you will find Gage behind the camera filming upcoming models. Gage also has his own web site http://www.GagePowers.com which he keeps updated on his current affairs and pictures information about not only today's work but his work as a model.

Marc Blackwell: Please tell me how did you get your start in the Porn Industry?

Gage Powers: Well, I must admit I have always wanted to be a porn star since I was young, too young... But, on a suggestion from a friend when I was 19... I had him take some pictures of me to send to Badpuppy, and almost immediately I did a photo shoot with them. Other shoots and videos followed quickly... Too quickly! :)

Marc Blackwell: Great name, so how did you come up with your stage name?

Gage Powers: I had a few stage names I had chosen - But, Gage was the name of the little boy in Steven King's "Pet Cemetery"... I just loved that name! As for last names I just new it had to be Powerful... Powers, easy enough! :)

Marc Blackwell: What has been your favorite porn scene in any of your videos?

Gage Powers: Out of any of the videos I have been featured in, I would have to say the threesome scene with Bradley Allen & Trey Camden in "Suck Buddies" by Citiboyz. It was a little fantasy of mine to be between them... Mmmmm :)

Marc Blackwell: What do you consider your biggest turn-on?

Gage Powers: Eyes and Lips get me every time!

Marc Blackwell: What do you consider your biggest turn-off?

Gage Powers: I hate forceful or pushy people, that would be my biggest turn-off.

Marc Blackwell: Is it easier behind the camera or in front of the camera?

Gage Powers: Both are actually challenging and rewarding, It's probably easier to be in front of the camera... But, I guess that is my artistic nature that always brings me behind the camera...

Marc Blackwell: Please explain? How was the transfer from being in porn to filming porn?

Gage Powers: Truthfully it was a little harder than I thought it might be... After being a model you begin be get used to the fanfare, Producer/Directors just aren't as focused on as much for a reason... The Boys are the STARS.

Marc Blackwell: I understand a lot of fun can be had while shooting porn, any favorite shoots you can tell us about?

Gage Powers: Tons of fun can be had a shoot! There has been so many I confuse them all now... They all had their great parts, I have met so many great people on each one and I hope that continues for a long time to come.

Marc Blackwell: I also understand the craziness and drama that occurs on these shoots too. Any bad experiences in your past you would like to share?

Gage Powers: YES, that is true too... But, while on a shoot we have three major rules... Or we call it the three D's you don't do... No Drugs, No Dick (off camera), No Drama. We have few problems that occur because of our strict policy.

Marc Blackwell: Now that your producing videos what type of model do you look for to film?

Gage Powers: Citiboyz Video specializes in more of the All-American Boy Next Door type, but what I specifically look for is a model that he is easy to work with, down-to-earth, REAL!

Marc Blackwell: Have you set any goals for yourself in the Adult Industry and if so what?

Gage Powers: I have no major goals, I am just glad that I have the chance to keeping giving those fans great videos... I may not be in front of the camera still, but more of me goes into these videos now with me behind the camera... My Heart, My Soul, My Desires, MY Fantasies...

Marc Blackwell: Can you name just a few of the models that you admired when you were a model. And also models that you admire today?

Gage Powers: A couple of the porn stars I admired when I modeled were mostly like the Bel Ami Boys, Johan Paulik & Lukas Ridgestone... YUMMY! Now, I know a majority of these guys and I admire them all in different ways... But, the two that I keep thinking about are Brandon Baker & Pierre Fitch... I know these guys have worked EXTREMELY hard to get where they are today... I definately admire them for that!

Marc Blackwell: What kind of people do you admire in the business?

Gage Powers: I would have to say Larry Flynt. If it wasn't for pioneers like him, none of us would be doing any of this... So, THANK YOU LARRY!

Marc Blackwell: Do you have any hobbies or interests?

Gage Powers: I am pretty much a normal younger guy... I like video games, cars, racing, playing on the computer, watching TV... Just regular things :)

Marc Blackwell: What would it surprise our readers to know about you?

Gage Powers: Hmm, that one is hard because I am an open book, as they say... I've got one though, I love art and I collect and have for years now. I am extremely proud of my collection that includes Picasso, Dali, Matisse, Chagal, Miro, Agam, Gockel, & Lichtenstein.
